🌅 Gunstock Ranch – Private Sunset Dinner Ride


The Private Sunset Dinner Ride is the ultimate paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) experience. Set out on a scenic 2-hour horseback adventure that ends with a delicious campfire dinner. This is a walking-only ride (no trotting or cantering), making it a great choice for families – riders must be ages 7 and up.

In the late afternoon, you and your horse will follow peaceful mountain trails with glimpses of the ocean below. Don’t forget your camera: you’ll stop at a lookout point with sweeping views of the island’s windward coastline. Then gather around a campfire for a warm dinner (see menu below), along with water and Hawaiian Sun fruit drinks – and yes, you can roast marshmallows over the fire.

After dinner, your wrangler will help you back in the saddle for a relaxing ride home as the sky fades into dusk.

  • Restrictions:

    Minimum party of 2 required for sunset dinner ride.
    Weight limit is 235 lbs.
    Minimum age to participate is 7.
    Parents and guardians must sign for minor children 7-17 years of age.
    No pregnant riders.
    All riders must abide by the trail guides instructions.

  • Special Notes:

    Facilities at the stables do not have lockers or storage for valuables. Please limit your items to your pocket or fanny pack.
