Ideal for beginners, this eco-friendly excursion starts with paddling instructions and assistance from your expert guide before you launch your stable sit-on-top kayak. Paddle across the bay toward Popoiʻa Island, a protected seabird sanctuary just offshore. Along the way, you may spot Hawaiian green sea turtles gliding through their natural feeding grounds.

Once you land on the soft sands of Popoiʻa, join your guide for a 20–25 minute eco-hike around the island to learn about local wildlife and marine ecosystems. Watch for seabirds, colorful fish, and crabs in the tide pools before paddling back to Kailua Beach. Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch and two hours of free time to snorkel, boogie board, or simply relax on the beach.
