Enjoy a traditional Hawaiian luau earlier in the day with the Toa Luau Afternoon Show, held in the breathtaking Waimea Valley on Oahu’s North Shore. Beginning at 12:30 pm and ending at 3:30 pm, this luau is perfect for families with young children or visitors driving in from Waikiki. The afternoon show features the same delicious buffet and award-winning Polynesian performances as the evening luau — just with earlier start and end times for added convenience.

Toa Luau is unlike any other, offering guests admission to the stunning Waimea Valley botanical garden, where you can explore scenic nature trails, see cultural sites, and even swim at the base of the famous Waimea waterfall (weather permitting). For the full experience, plan to arrive earlier in the day to enjoy the garden before the luau begins.

Seating is assigned at round tables of 10 guests. You’ll receive your table number upon check-in.

Where and When
Check-in for the luau begins at 12:15 pm. The luau starts at 12:30 pm and ends at approximately 4:00 pm.
Parking at the Valley is $2.

If you decide to hike up to Waimea Falls before the luau starts, please give yourself at least 2-3 hours before luau check-in to hike and swim.
Your luau ticket includes access to Waimea Valley botanical garden and can be used on one day of your choice during the week before or the week after your luau. Waimea Valley hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Please note: Waimea Botanical Garden and Falls is closed on Mondays all year except the summer months, which is June to August.
Restrictions
There are no specific restrictions for this activity.
Special Notes
Waimea Valley admission is included. Prior to the luau festivities, guests can take a walk on a paved path through the botanical garden and walk to Waimea waterfall. The walk is 1.5 miles round trip. If you like to experience the valley without hiking, there is a golf cart shuttle offered at $10 /person roundtrip at the valley entrance.

Swimming at Waimea Falls depends on daily waterfall conditions. Lifeguards assess the safety each day and make the swim call at 9:00 am. For the latest swimming status, you can call (808) 638-7766.
Changing rooms are conveniently located near the waterfall for your use.
